Hill’s Pet Nutrition is seeking a pioneering AI Creative Technologist to lead the integration of artificial intelligence into our creative workflows. This senior role on the Strategic Creative Services team is for a true innovator who sits at the intersection of creative strategy and emerging technology. You will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining agentic AI systems that will empower our team of creatives. Your work will enhance efficiency, unlock new creative possibilities, and ensure that Hill's remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain agentic AI systems and custom workflows tailored to the needs of our creative team (copywriters, designers, video artists).

  • Act as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for all AI tools and platforms used by the Strategic Creative Services team.

  • Lead the practice of prompt engineering, developing sophisticated and effective prompts to guide AI models and ensure high-quality, on-brand creative outputs.

  • Establish and manage a robust quality control process for all AI-enabled systems and content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and ethical use.

  • Partner with creative and marketing leadership to identify opportunities where AI can solve business challenges and improve the creative process.

  • Train and mentor creative team members on best practices for leveraging AI tools in their daily work.

  • Stay relentlessly current with the latest advancements in generative AI, large language models, and creative technology, acting as a key advisor to the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years of experience in a technology-focused role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing new systems.

  • Deep, hands-on experience with major generative AI platforms, APIs, and large language models.

  • Experience in building AI agents and agentic workflows in Retool or similar applications.

  • Strong skills in prompt engineering and an intuitive understanding of how to interact with and guide AI systems to achieve specific outcomes.

  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) to create custom tools and integrations.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating projects where you have successfully applied AI or technology to solve creative or business problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree

  • Experience working directly with or being embedded within a creative or marketing team.

  • Familiarity with the creative process and the tools used by designers, writers, and video producers.

  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

  • Strong understanding of the ethical considerations and limitations of AI in a corporate environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $106,400.00 - $150,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
