Maintenance Associate
Location: Ottawa, ON
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing modular buildings used for office spaces, construction trailers, and various temporary facilities. You’ll help ensure the modular fleet remains in top condition when not deployed at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on modular buildings
Assist with general labor tasks including painting, patching, and minor construction repairs
Replace flooring tiles and complete other light repair tasks
Load and unload stairs, furniture, and various materials
Organize supplies and operate a counterbalance forklift
Assist with picking and packing material orders
Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Essential Skills & Experience
3–5 years of construction experience (carpentry, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, etc.)
Proficiency with general labor tools, hand tools, and power tools
Strong communication skills and comfort working outdoors
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to complete background checks and drug/alcohol testing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification or experience is an asset
Experience with modular buildings is a plus
Must have reliable transportation

Work Environment
You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, moving throughout the facility yard and between modular units. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team of three service technicians—becoming the fourth member of the crew.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ottawa, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
