Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Shifts: Rotating Days/Nights (8‑week cycle)
About the Role
Join our advanced manufacturing team as an Electromechanical Technician, where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving highly automated production systems. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex electromechanical equipment that supports critical, innovation‑driven manufacturing processes contributing to global health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical controls maintenance (approx. 40% of the role).
Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair (60%).
Conduct daily and biweekly preventative maintenance, cleaning, and equipment care.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Support validation and verification activities for processes, products, equipment, and components.
Follow change control processes and maintenance protocols aligned with GMP manufacturing standards.
Document tasks accurately and communicate findings clearly (written and verbal).
Work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
Adapt to a fast‑paced production environment with shifting priorities.
Interact professionally with team members at all organizational levels.
Perform hands-on tasks requiring manual dexterity, color differentiation, and extended standing/walking, with occasional kneeling/crouching.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electromechanical machinery.
Diploma in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Technician studies — or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience in assembly, operation, and maintenance of electromechanical systems.
Mechanical and/or automation aptitude for root cause analysis and problem-solving.
Experience in medical device or electronics manufacturing (strong asset).
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
