Our Canadian Transportation business is growing at a rapid pace, and we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, caring and collaborative individual to take on the role of Canada Highways Growth Leader. The role will be based in Ontario with a focus on growing our Ontario highways service offering, mentoring staff, and collaborating across our technical, sales and operations teams for collective growth and success. While your focus will be Ontario growth and delivery, you may be involved in highways growth and projects across Jacobs.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Deliver complex highways projects as a Technical Leader and Project Manager.
Secure and strengthen long term client partnerships and drive near to long term growth in the Canada highways space, through:
Playing leading role in the development and execution of our highway growth strategy.
Being highly influential in identifying, positioning for, pursuing and winning strategic opportunities.
Ensuring appropriate engagement and collaboration across our Market Solutions/Subject Matter Experts.
Partnering with our operations, sales and market solutions leaders at a local, geographic and regional level to develop unique and valued client propositions.
Stewardship of technical solutions and driving innovation on our projects, actively involved in quality and risk management, leveraging expertise to ensure efficiency of delivery.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent, through:
Collaborating with our leaders to develop and implement hiring strategies in the highways space.
Intentional involvement in external professional organizations and conferences.
Active participation in our global Communities of Practices to share your experiences and knowledge.
Actively coaching, mentoring, sponsoring and training our people.
Engagement of resources across Jacobs, including our Global Integrated Delivery teams.
P.Eng. membership with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Relevantbachelorsor advanced degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Proven success as a collaborative andteam-orientedperson,as well as highly resourceful and self-directed.
Extensiveexperience in Project Management of Transportation Infrastructure projects in Ontario, specifically with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario and other municipalities.
Experience and connections with other roadways and highways clientsacross Canada would be an asset.
Provenability tolead and managethepreparationtechnical documents such as reports, design drawings, specifications, tender documents, etc.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients and work collaboratively with them.
Strong awareness and understanding of client and marketimpactingtrends
Creative approachto valueclientproposition development
Experience in strategy development, business development, and sales
Excellentoral and written communication, and presentation skills
Ability todemonstrateexternal and internal thoughtleadership skills and experience
Ability to effectively deliver measurable results in a highly matrixed, fast moving, and complex environment
