We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Ottawa, ON, Canada – telework as required and/or authorized.
Project Summary:
The client has launched a number of initiatives in FY2024 which will require support to help in the delivery of those initiatives. The resource is expected to be well versed in industry products and standards listed in the Framework agreement for Business Systems, with a particular emphasis on ServiceNow.
Deliverables:
Program/Project Charters and Program/Project Plans.
Resource Plans, Lifecycle Plans, Migration Plans, and Training Plans.
Communication plan and material.
Change Management Plans and Operationalization Plans.
Program/Project status reports and presentations.
User Experience Journey Maps.
Issues and Change Logs.
Risk Analysis and Cost Estimates.
Exec/Management Presentations – management and next stage plan presentation.
Day to Day Job Duties:
Manage several project managers, each responsible for an element of the program and its associated project team.
Manage high-profile projects and associated project teams.
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
Manage the program/projects during the initiation, planning, development, implementation, and operations startup by ensuring resources are made available and the program is developed and fully operational within previously agreed time, cost, and performance parameters.
Formulate statements of problems, establish procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtain approval thereof.
Define and document the objectives for the program; determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the program team.
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program and project risks.
Report progress of the program and projects to program/project governance on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the lifecycle.
Meet in confidence with stakeholders and other project managers and state problems in a form capable of being solved.
Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
Work with a variety of program and/or project management tools.
Demonstrate in-depth experience and knowledge of program and project management practices and trends.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 15 years of experience within the last 20 years in a Senior Project Management, Program Management, or Portfolio Management role.
Must have played a leading role as a Program Manager in at least 5 IM/IT projects in the last 7 years.
Must have 2 years of experience managing programs/projects involving the ServiceNow platform.
Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a university degree in project management.
Must have a College Diploma or University Degree.
Assets/Preferences:
Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
Experience with the Federal Government, Crown Corp, or other Public Sector is strongly preferred.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($65/Hr To $75/Hr). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
