Position: Ag. Equipment Operator
Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Require a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
Job Description: Wheatland Industries, Inc. is a dryland family farm operation. We are looking for someone who can help with maintaining and operating large farm equipment, primarily John Deere and
Case machinery equipped with GPS for tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain crops; drive semi-truck with grain trailer or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment from field to designated storage locations; grain bin and auger operation; mixing fertilizer and chemicals to appropriate specs; walking fields pulling off-type weeds; maintaining farm by mowing, cleaning up old buildings and farmstead; preparing location and assembling steel farm building; driving farm vehicles; daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 48
Schedule: Monday to Saturday 8am to 5pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 3-1-26 to 12-31-26
