Role Purpose Statement :The job incumbent is responsible for the performance of quality and quantity pre-shipment inspections on goods for export to determine their conformity with reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulations, etc.). He usually carries out his task independently, with minimum supervision.
He performs the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the BV Group policies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Carrying out pre-shipment inspections on goods for export in accordance with GS rules and procedures
Preparing inspection reports, time sheets and other relevant information necessary to further processing
Maintaining internal and external communication
Attending meetings in relation to the above inspections
Communication of commercial information
Keeping himself updated with GS procedures, national and international regulations and publications related to GS inspections
Management and administration of samples
Respects security guidelines of BV and safeguard personal security in the working environment
Any role assigned by N+1 from time to time.
Strict compliance with BV guidelines and procedures
Average process time to deliver the Inspection Report (1WD)
Timely submission of Time Sheet on weekly basis
Update himself with GS PVoC contractual requirements
Respect and safeguard GS assets & CoE
Filling 2 MFMS Checklist before every job
Safe Driving/ riding before every job
Reporting of Near Hit and Unsafe condition
Active participation in training for minimum 8 hours
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Graduate or minimum intermediate with enough experience
Minimum one year work experience in relevant field
Computer skills e.g. MS Office
Good English and local language skills are desirable
Customer care skills
Inspection procedures knowledge product wise
Reporting skills on MAIA.
