West Columbia Carrier LLC Over The Road Operator in Othello, Washington
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive long distances across the Northwest to deliver freight with a truck and trailer.
Plan routes efficiently and make timely deliveries.
Inspect the truck before leaving to make suer its in good condition.
Safely secure the freight and monitor it during the trip.
Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking tire pressure and fluid levels, making minor repairs when needed.
Keep a log of expenses and know how to use a e log of driving hours.
Communicate any delays or issues with dispatchers.
Follow all federal and state trucking regulations, including rest periods, weight limits, and drug test when is needed in random required quarterly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Driver a truck with a trailer. (Refer)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
At least 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
Familiarity with route planning using GPS.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
English requirement.
