From applying primers to final coatings, you\'ll ensure every surface is covered with precision, consistency, and care. What Success Looks Like Apply primer and finish coatings with consistency and precision, ensuring even coverage and proper thickness to meet quality standards. Adjust spray equipment, including valves and nozzles, to control pressure and achieve the right finish for each product. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, caulking, and ensuring materials are ready for a high-quality finish. Operate equipment such as the shot blaster to properly clean structural steel prior to painting, following all safety requirements. Maintain a clean, organized paint area while following all company safety policies and procedures. Accurately track paint usage to support VOC reporting and maintain compliance standards. Take ownership of quality by following GFS Quality Management System (QMS) standards in all aspects of your work. Work both independently and as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently and meet daily goals.
