What you’ll do:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing Eaton’s on-site operations from site preparation through construction, testing, and commissioning. You will represent Eaton and the Project Manager, coordinate the daily operational works, ensuring planning, coordination, safety, quality, and timely delivery of all activities.
Responsibilities:
Lead Eaton’s on-site activities across preparation, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Represent Eaton and the Project Manager in all planning, coordination, and safety meetings on site.
Ensure strict EHS compliance through toolbox talks, daily risk assessments, and continuous safety leadership.
Coordinate daily work of Eaton teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure smooth and safe execution.
Identify resource gaps, risks, and constraints, collaborating with the Project Manager to maintain schedule and quality.
Provide clear written daily updates on progress, challenges, and upcoming work.
Review and audit testing, commissioning documentation, and technical practices.
Qualifications:
Strong electrical background: electrician or electrical engineer education, university degree is a plus.
Previous experience in similar role focused on: field service, commissioning, site management or service management in electrical domain.
Experience work in construction related electrical infrastructure or power distribution environment, knoweldge data center segment is a plus.
Knowledge with Health and Safety and Quality Management on contruction site.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring, cabling documents.
Knowledge and experrience with MS Office and MS project.
Professional communication skills in English is a must, Norwegian is and other EU language skills are plus.
Good people skills and experience of working with business customers is critical.
Flexibility and adaptability - eagerness to learn all aspects of job is required for this role.
Able to travel and work to various locations in Norway or EMEA region depending on business needs.
