JOB REQUIREMENTS: Do you have experience leading maintenance operations, coordinating crews, and keeping public facilities and spaces safe, functional, and well-maintained? The City of Oshkosh is seeking a Public Works Operations Supervisor Buildings and Grounds to oversee the daily work that supports City buildings, parks, and public spaces. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operations leader who enjoys staff supervision, facilities oversight, problem-solving, and public service. In this role, you will: Lead daily Buildings and Grounds operations by planning work, assigning staff and equipment, and overseeing maintenance activities across City facilities and parks. Supervise, train, coach, and support division staff, while assisting with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and timekeeping. Coordinate parks and facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, custodial support, and seasonal operations. Respond to operational and emergency maintenance issues and help maintain service continuity. Monitor building systems, vendor services, work orders, inventory, purchasing, and other operational support functions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate\'s Degree in Facilities Management, Building Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance operations. Supervisory experience is preferred.
