Job Title: Material Handler Weekend Day Shift Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will report to the fabrication supervisor. Your primary responsibilities include moving large sheets of metal to the forming department using a sit-down forklift, and assisting with the brake press and laser operators.
Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to move large sheets of metal.
Load and unload sheets and parts from the laser.
Assist the press brake operator in bending parts, which involves two-man jobs.
Support welding operations by assisting with tacking, kitting, and prepping.
Finish metal units as needed based on demand.
Perform general labor and machine operation tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in forklift operation.
Ability to load and unload materials efficiently.
Experience in material handling and moving materials to support fabrication.
Capability to assist in press brake operations and welding tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures and micrometers.
Understanding of mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
Commitment to high-quality standards to meet customer specifications.
Adherence to company policy and standards.

Work Environment
Work the weekend day shift from Friday to Sunday, 6am to 6pm, in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment. Join small teams to collaborate effectively.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
