Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Do you have metal fabrication experience? Or are looking for an opportunity to start a career in metal fabrication? You will be working in an established metal fabrication shop to set up and operate CNC plasma tables, CNC lasers, and waterjets and various other metal fabrication equipment. Depending on willingness, you may be taught how to edit and adjust programs on CNC machinery as well. You will be working from blueprints and engineered drawings to ensure work is completed to specifications.
Hours: 6:00AM to 4:00PM ; Monday - Thursday (4X10's)
Pay: $21.00/hr to $25.50+/hr based on experience
** Willing to pay more for previous metal fabrication experience
Job Duties:
Learn to work from blueprints to complete all projects to specifications
Set up and operated plasma tables, CNC lasers, saws, and other equipment daily
Adjust machine settings, change out tooling, and complete basic maintenance on equipment
Load materials into machinery using overhead cranes and hoists
Eventually train to be able to edit programs on machinery based on projects
Requirements:
1-2+ years of machine operating experience (any industry will be considered)
1 year of previous metal fabrication experience preferred
Experience operating brake presses, drill presses, saws, or CNC machinery highly preferred
Must be comfortable using power tools

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.50/hr.
