Position Title:Head Start Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher (Continuous Recruitment) Job Category:University Staff Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Early Child Edu Asst Teacher Job Duties: Early Childhood Education Assistant Teachers will work within the UW Oshkosh Head Start program, which is a federally funded, preschool program for low-income families. Head Start employeeshave the opportunity towork with 384 children and their families every school year. We have seven centers in five different cities throughout Winnebago, Calumet, Outagamie, and Shawano Counties. Staff wellness is prioritized through available individual/group reflective practice, Practice Based Coaching, and wellness initiatives. HIRING INCENTIVE!! Head Start has a great hiring incentive happening now! New Hires, working 21 hours or more per week, will receive a \$500.00 bonus after working 90 days. New hires working 20 hours or less per week will receive a \$250.00 bonus after the 90-day period. Key Job Responsibilities: Updates and organizes individualized and developmental educational plans for children Documents effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to relay pertinent information and provide updates of child activities per established guidelines and regulations Assists with basic technical and administrative classroom support Maintains the safety and physical well-being of children in a designated classroom Assists with the planning and facilitation of classroom programming and classroom coordination...
