Job Description
This role supports strategic decision making by providing relevant, reliable, timely, insightful, and accurate financial information and analysis. In this senior level role, you will be expected to perform assignments, lead initiatives, and solve problems with high complexity and impact. Your scope of responsibilities will focus on supporting the supply chain team and leaders, partnering with the broader finance team, and may include giving direction to first-level colleagues.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Geographic Scope: North America
Number of colleagues directly reporting to this job: None
Subject matter expert (SME) on supply chain related data sources and reporting related to inventory quantities and valuations
Develop and prepare meaningful financial and operational performance metrics and trend reports for supply chain leaders
Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends and activities driving those trends, provide insightful commentary, and make recommendations for areas of improvement
Preparation and facilitation of certain aspects of the annual budgeting process, including but not limited to providing freight and inventory guidance to plants
Ownership of certain presentation materials for supply chain monthly management reporting, and preparing certain business group and site level presentation materials
Initiate and execute process improvements, including automation of reporting and presentation materials; partner with APEX team to improve and / or develop new templates and conduct training
Ownership of various aspects of the monthly/quarterly/yearly close process, such as preparation or approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis
Assist internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience – 5+ years of experience in business/accounting
Plant or supply chain finance experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage large amounts of data from multiple systems
Full working knowledge of P&L and balance sheet
Regular attendance
Frequent interaction with others
Ability to sit up to 100% of time
Ability to communicate up to 100% of time
Ability to move from one place to another up to 50% of time
Ability to work on a computer 100% of time
Ability to travel domestically 5% of time
