Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Description
We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to customers while managing various inside sales and administrative tasks. You will play a key part in processing orders, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer requests for quotes and purchase orders promptly and accurately.
• Respond to inquiries regarding order status, pricing, and product information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and account managers to address customer needs and concerns.
• Ensure all sales orders, shipment documents, and export paperwork comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of sales activity, customer commitments, and complaints to support the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, shipping, and accounting teams to deliver quality products and services.
• Expedite urgent orders through the system when necessary.
• Use Microsoft Office tools and internal systems to manage data entry, pricing, and inventory tasks.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a consistent customer service process.
• Review and resolve customer complaints in collaboration with relevant departments, escalating major issues when required.
Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with order entry systems and inventory management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling inbound and outbound calls.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of export documentation processes is a plus.
• Previous experience managing customer complaints and resolving issues is preferred. TalentMatch®
