Position Title:Assistant Professor Job Category:Faculty Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Assistant Professor Job Duties: The School of Public Affairs and Global Engagement at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Criminal Justice. We seek a dynamic scholar and educator to contribute to the largest Major in the School of PAGE (Criminal Justice) and to our expanding Forensic Investigation Minor, a program supported by the Disciplines of Anthropology and Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related discipline. Candidates with a Ph.D. from the natural sciences will be considered if they have relevant experience in criminalistics/forensic applications from working at federal/state/local crime labs. Current tenured/tenure-track criminal justice faculty hold Ph.D.\'s in a variety of fields, including Criminology, Sociology, Political Science, Social Welfare, Forensic Anthropology, and Criminal Justice. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain an active research agenda (research specialization is open) leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.
