Position Title:Assistant Professor Job Category:Faculty Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Assistant Professor Job Duties: The School of Education and Human Services in the College of Public Affairs and Education invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Special Education. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty committed to preparing future educators who embrace inclusive, equitable, and research-based teaching practices. The appointment begins in Fall 2026. We seek an engaged scholar-practitioner whose teaching, research, and service promote high-quality, inclusive education for diverse learners. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with special needs in early childhood and/or elementary school settings. Preference will be given to applicants with additional expertise in general elementary education or teacher preparation. This is a nine-month academic year appointment with a teaching load of 12 credits per semester. The School of Education and Human Services (SOEHS) at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is a dynamic academic community dedicated to preparing future educators, counselors, and human service professionals. Education majors in SOEHS can pursue a wide range of teaching licenses in special education, elementary and middle education, secondary education, and physical education.
