The OTR (On the Road) First Mile Regional Manager is responsible for leading and managing the first-mile operations strategy and execution within the designated region. This role focuses on optimizing pickup operations, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring efficient first-mile logistics performance to meet service level agreements and business objectives.

Key job responsibilities

Lead and oversee regional first-mile operations strategy and execution

Manage team performance and development for first-mile operations

Optimize pickup network design and carrier capacity planning

Drive operational excellence in first-mile logistics processes

Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and service providers

Monitor and analyze first-mile KPIs and performance metrics

Implement continuous improvement initiatives for pickup operations

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations

Lead problem-solving efforts for first-mile operational challenges

Manage budget and resource allocation for regional first-mile operations

Drive innovation and process improvements in pickup operations

Basic Qualifications

• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

• Experience in stakeholder management and communication management

• Experience in managing and developing teams

• Advanced English Proficiency

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
