Location: Hybrid in Orrville, Ohio

What you'll be working on...

    • Identifies, evaluates, and consummates new and profitable business opportunities through the expansion of energy customers.
  • Works with new potential prospects to develop opportunities to add new energy customers including residential, commercial, industrial, agriculture, alternative fuels and mixed-use developments.
  • Displays or ensures strong organizational and relationship selling ability including cold calling.
  • Coordinates with other company departments to evaluate and vet opportunities and assists in the development of marketing campaigns and materials to support lead and opportunity generation, penetrate new geographic locations, and market segments.
  • Evaluates and presents alternative energy equipment applications, including combined heat and power, gas fired chillers, gas heat pumps, propane and natural gas vehicles and fueling, back-up fuels and virtual pipeline service, existing and prospective customer.
  • Prepares short and long-term energy and costs analyses for existing and prospective customers.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to resolve internal and external customer service opportunities for improvement, and coordination of new installations.
  • Initiates and maintains key relationships, including but not limited to land developers, builders, home-owner associations, engineering firms, contractors, chambers of commerce, economic development groups, land use permitting authorities.
  • Develop and maintain general knowledge pertinent to the application and installation of propane and natural gas systems, installation of fuel lines and appliances while complying with federal and local codes (NFPA 54 and 58).
  • Develops existing customer retention analyses, communications and negotiations.
  • Ensures record keeping and compliance activities are accurate and complete.
  • Maintains excellent internal and external customer service during the completion of job responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Technical knowledge of gaseous energy equipment, alternative fueling opportunities and regulatory and legal aspects to energy expansion and consumption
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, and computer literate
  • Strong ability to speak in front of large groups.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently and develop individual and team goals.
  • Organized and task driven with strong time management skills.
  • Drivers license
