Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a team in Ormond Beach, Florida. This is a Contract position with the opportunity for long-term growth within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting operations and proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise, as they will play a key role in supporting our financial processes and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Perform daily accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliations.
• Assist with the transfer and validation of financial data to QuickBooks Enterprise, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review and clean financial records to maintain consistency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Document and optimize accounting workflows using best practices for internal controls.
• Collaborate with team members and external consultants to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations within the accounting system.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and audit preparation.
• Provide training and technical support to team members using QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records to support financial audits and reporting requirements.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounting roles such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise is required; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, especially in collaborative environments.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in dynamic situations, particularly when supporting new systems.
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting software best practices and data migration concepts is highly desirable.
