Siemens Energy Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer in Orlando, Florida

As a Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer, your day will be filled with engaging interactions with suppliers, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest quality standards, lead supplier qualifications, and resolve non-conformance issues, all while developing strong working relationships with global suppliers to support business continuity and product excellence.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
Lead product and process qualification (PPQ) activities at suppliersites.
Manage and resolve quality issues related to non-conforming suppliercomponents identified at Siemens Energy Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT)facilities, warehouses, or customer locations.
Oversee root cause investigations and corrective actions usingstructured problem-solving techniques.
Audit existing and potential suppliers to assess manufacturingcapability and ensure robust quality systems are in place.
Drive supplier development to meet current and future product qualityand manufacturing requirements, investigate and address manufacturingcapability issues within the supply chain to maintain delivery performanceand mitigate risks.
Identify and support cost reduction opportunities in partnership withthe Strategic Business and Supply Chain teams. Contribute to productmanufacturing improvement through regular on-site presence at supplierlocations
WhatYou Bring
Bachelor’s degree in quality, mechanical, electricalengineering or in a related field.
5+ years of experience working with or within manufacturingfacilities and on critical components (e.g. discs, shafts, complexassemblies) or in a related role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality managementsystems (e.g. ISO9001), and inspection methodologies.
Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, including GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams to ensurecomponent manufacturability. Proven ability to manage multiple complexinvestigations and supplier quality issues from start to finish.
Experience with root cause analysis tools and quality improvementmethodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa. Familiarity with SAP orsimilar ERP systems is beneficial.
You will be required to travel up to 50% to supplier/vendor sites
