Shift Manager - Injection Molding Manufacturing
Location: Orlando, FL | Shift: Night shift 7:00pm-7:30am

What You-ll Do
Lead & Develop Your Team
Coach, mentor, and develop Operators, Floor Assistants, and Product Movers
Drive engagement through recognition, feedback, and growth opportunities
Support onboarding and training to ensure team success from day one
Build a strong, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Drive Production & Performance
Oversee daily shift operations in a plastic injection molding facility
Ensure production meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards
Balance staffing, schedules, and workloads to meet demand
Lead continuous improvement efforts including scrap reduction and cycle efficiency
Utilize lean tools (5S, process improvement) to optimize operations
Champion Safety & Accountability
Lead by example and enforce safe work practices
Quickly address safety concerns and ensure compliance
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production floor
Communicate & Collaborate
Monitor production metrics and identify root causes of issues
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Shipping, and Planning teams
Conduct shift handoffs and provide clear end-of-shift reporting
Resolve team challenges with professionalism and urgency
What You Bring
3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Experience in injection molding (a plus)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage people, priorities, and performance in a fast-paced setting
Basic technical understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel); JDE experience is a plus
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead diverse teams
