Join our team as a Senior Project Engineer in the Siemens Energy Large Gas Turbines division, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity. Imagine leading test project execution from planning to completion, while coordinating hands-on technical measurements and data acquisition on-site. You will conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of complex systems, managing the entire product testing lifecycle. Your expertise will directly support the reliability and performance of our key gas turbine products, making a significant impact on our mission to drive innovation in energy technology.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
You will manage site measurement and test projects fromplanning through to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope,schedule, and budget.
Review & carry out comprehensive test plans, cases,and procedures based on engineering specifications for large gas turbines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingdevelopment and customer support, to align testing requirements andresource allocation.
Coach and review the work of junior engineers andtechnicians, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Set up, calibrate, and operate complex test equipmentand data acquisition systems for on-site measurements on large gasturbines.
Able to travel up to 20% to domestic and internationalcustomer sites.
WhatYou Bring (requirements)
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Typically, you have 5-8 years of professionalexperience in product testing, commissioning, or a related engineeringrole involving large-scale industrial equipment.
Your advanced knowledge in product test engineering,particularly with large-scale mechanical systems, is essential forsuccess.
You possess strong analytical skills and are proficientin troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues.
Knowledgeof gas and steam turbine and generator operation.
