Siemens Energy Project Procurement Management Professional in Orlando, Florida

This position is to ensure business continuity and mitigate the risk of resource shortages for New Units projects and business controlling activities. This role is established within the Onshore Wind Power Procurement organization for North America and Latin America to provide critical capacity for strategic project execution. To address this need, the role is structured around three core areas: Strategic Project Sourcing, comprehensive Contract and Bid Management, and Financial Controlling and Process Leadership. This framework ensures the position will drive value through early sales-phase involvement, manage the procurement lifecycle for complex projects, and oversee financial performance and resource coordination. They will possess extensive experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, and financial analysis, with a proven ability to develop operational plans and lead within a complex, project-driven environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Leadearly procurement involvement in the sales phase for New Units projectsto define sourcing strategies and influence technical specifications forcost optimization. Developand execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities and servicesacross North and Latin American projects. Conductmarket research and supplier analysis to identify, qualify, and developnew suppliers, ensuring a robust and competitive supply chain.
Leadcomplex negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with key suppliersto achieve strategic cost savings and mitigate supply chain risks.
Managethe end-to-end procurement lifecycle for assigned projects, from bidpreparation and proposal analysis to contract administration andcloseout. Coordinatethe preparation of complex bid and contract documents with legal,finance, and technical teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Administeractive project contracts, monitor supplier performance against servicelevel agreements, and proactively manage contract changes, claims, anddisputes.
Establishand manage the financial controlling framework for project procurement,including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting on financialperformance. Develop,implement, and standardize new procurement processes and operationalplans to enhance efficiency and support functional business goals.
Actas a subject matter expert to coordinate and train project procurementresources, fostering best practices and professional development withinthe team. Analyzeprocurement data to identify trends, report on key performance indicators(KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor'sdegree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering,or a related field preferred.
Extensiveexperience (typically 5+ years preferred) in strategic procurement, sourcing, andcontract management, preferably within an energy, construction, orlarge-scale project-based industry.
Demonstratedexperience at an expert level, responsible for developing operationalplans and influencing senior leadership.
Financial& Analytical Acumen and Contract& Risk Management experience preferred
Bi-lingual Spanish and English a plus
