Siemens Energy Project Manager - Wind Turbines in Orlando, Florida

This role is being created to ensure business continuity by replacing a Project Manager for blade repair projects within the Onshore Wind Power division for North America. The position is critical for overseeing the lifecycle of large corrective maintenance projects focused specifically on wind turbine blades, directly supporting operational uptime and asset integrity. To meet these objectives, this Specialist role is structured around three core areas: comprehensive project planning and execution, diligent financial and resource management, and robust stakeholder and quality engagement. This framework ensures that all aspects of complex blade repair projects, from initial scoping and budgeting to final delivery and client communication, are managed effectively. Given the focus on large-scale, technical corrective projects, the ideal candidate will be a recognized subject matter expert with extensive experience managing industrial projects. They will possess advanced skills in project management methodologies, financial controls, risk mitigation, and quality assurance, preferably gained within the wind energy or a related sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Developand manage comprehensive project plans for large-scale blade repair andcorrective maintenance projects, including scope, schedules, and resourceallocation. Leadproject execution from initiation through to closure, ensuring adherenceto timelines, quality standards, and project objectives.
Assignresponsibilities to project teams, providing coaching and guidance tolower-level professionals and delegating tasks effectively. Overseeproject closure activities, including final documentation, customerhandover, and capturing lessons learned for future process improvement.
Developand control project budgets, monitor costs, manage forecasting, andoversee invoicing and procurement processes. Identify,assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving complex problems andobstacles to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
Monitorand report on project status, including key performance indicators forcost, timing, and staffing, to senior management. Integrateand manage vendor tasks, tracking deliverables and ensuring they meetcontractual and quality requirements.
Serveas the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, includingcustomers, internal teams, and external vendors, to ensure clearcommunication and alignment. Ensureall project activities adhere to internal and external quality standards(e.g., ISO) and safety protocols.
Managecustomer relationships throughout the project lifecycle, providingregular updates and resolving any issues to maintain satisfaction.
What You Bring
Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
8+ years of experience in managing large, complex technicalprojects ideal. PMP certification nice to have.
Experiencein the wind energy, power generation, or heavy industrial sector is highlypreferred.

This role may be based in various locations across the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $93,000 to $158,00 annually, and the annual incentive target is from 0% to 10% of the base salary.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
