Summary
The Manager of Show Site Operations will be responsible for managing and supervising the work of the Creative Services Manager, and Labor Coordinators.
This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Orlando, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Actively participate in hiring, firing, coaching, and reviewing all members of show site operations.
Coordinate between show-site and warehouse operations to ensure quality of service and to build efficiencies and team work
Create, follow, and enforce company guidelines relating to company policy, show site operations and safety
Responsible for coordinating with Freeman - AV sales and operations to successfull prepare, produce and return shows
Regional resource on venue information including but not limited to load in and load out paths, venue exclusives and work rules
Assist warehouse personnel in determining quality and usefulness of equipment
Develop and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
Four (4) years on site event management experience required
Four (4) years of supervisory or management experience required
Wide knowledge base in Audio, Lighting, Video, and Set Systems
Must effectively manage time and resources
Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Travel Requirements
Travel 50% to 75%
