Promotes a safe environment by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and taking appropriate action in emergency situations.
Participates in education and discharge planning using established education materials.
Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department, participating in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities.
Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, and performs handwashing according to policy.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]
• Articulates comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and specialty nursing theory and practice for all age groups. [Required]
• Computer knowledge and skills. [Required]

• Technical/Vocational School [Required]

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
