NBC Universal Line Cook - Universal Kids Resort in Orlando, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the preparation and cooking food for multi-unit operation following all established standards across Universal Kids Resort. Ensures quality food service, presentation and taste is always provided and consistent. Must be highly motivated and detailed orientated with a passion to deliver best in class food.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares food in a timely fashion that is to the specifications of the recipe, including being aware of allergen information, using proper knife skills, and ensuring the quality of food meets Universal standards.
Follows proper State of Texas HACCP program and ServSafe certification and procedures, along with properly using the portion control tools and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Performs daily operating procedures which include closing/opening, stocking, and helping unload deliveries. Assists Sous Chef as directed for inventory requests.
Partners closely with other Team Members in a fast-paced kitchen environment, along with providing excellent guest service in moments of guest interaction.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1 year of Line Cook experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
