JOB SUMMARY:
This intern will develop skills in the field of Architecture & Engineering and critical thinking in the realms of asset management. This position will support the sustaining and maintenance activities of facilities and utilities assets at Universal Orlando through condition assessments and analysis. This position will also be required to perform field surveys and collect data to support the development of asset management programs. This intern will develop these skills in a collaborative environment with other driven professionals.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct surveys and collect field data of existing facilities and utilities infrastructure.
Review of as-built drawings, construction documents, and industry codes for analysis.
Assist in coordination of design review for asset sustainment with internal partners and external consultants.
Assist in the delivery of sustaining maintenance and repair services for various facilities and/or utilities assets.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Preferred majors include: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Urban Planning, or similar.
Relevant coursework in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Drafting.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or similar drafting platforms.
Exposure to ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS online and/or other ESRI products.
Exposure to Power BI, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Planner, Power Automate
Exposure to GPS technology and/or similar survey gathering technology for field data collection.

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
