Job Description:
SHIFT: Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM; Flexibility may be needed during peak cycles and for occasional evening or weekend recruitment events
LOCATION: AHU Welcome Center: 600 Wilkinson St., Orlando, FL 32803.
Oversees the integrity and efficiency of the admissions process—from initial inquiry to final acceptance—while collaborating with key departments to ensure a cohesive, student-centered experience. Develops and manages admissions policies, procedures, and communication plans in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership to support student engagement and recruitment. Oversees the review and updating of admissions communications, including print, digital, and system-generated materials. Researches and communicates current trends and best practices in admissions, application processing, and document workflows. Prepares and analyzes admissions and enrollment data to report on application trends, incoming cohorts, and inform strategic decision-making. Establishes, implements, and evaluates departmental policies and procedures in collaboration with institutional leadership and compliance standards. Recruits, hires, and develops departmental staff by setting clear performance expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and addressing performance issues to foster professional growth and team effectiveness. Represents the department and university in internal and external meetings, serving as a liaison to academic, corporate, community, and governmental stakeholders as appropriate to the department’s function. Collaborates with university departments on cross-functional initiatives and actively participates in committees and community service events that support institutional priorities. Promotes a culture of excellence in customer service, modeling respectful, mission-aligned behavior in all interactions. Contributes to and executes the department’s strategic plan, setting a clear vision and following through on key initiatives and deliverables. Ensures staff compliance with all regulatory requirements and fulfills reporting obligations to accreditation bodies, compliance offices, and senior leadership within required deadlines. Leads daily department operations and manages the departmental budget with oversight from senior leadership, ensuring alignment with institutional goals, strategic priorities, mission, and values. Other duties as assigned.

• Extensive experience working within a CRM and SIS [Required]
• Understanding of complex student information systems and how to use those systems effectively [Required]
• Strict adherence to practicing discretion and confidentiality regarding access to student information and knowledge of other sensitive matters [Required]
• Alignment to the mission and vision of AHU [Required]
• Must possess a general knowledge of the higher education market, Adventist education, and the duties and initiatives that drive enrollment [Required]

Pay Range:
$72,786.83 - $135,385.27
