Siemens Energy Construction Project Manager in Orlando, Florida

You will in terms of project management be responsible for planning and overseeing the construction and commissioning activities associated with SGRE’s contracted scope of works. You will have budget responsibility for Onshore Pre-assembly, Offshore Installation and Commissioning including Manning, Cranes, Vessels, Tools and Spares etc. in accordance with relevant processes and procedures. In the project organization you will report to the Project Director / Senior Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager. You will also undertake management of the client interface regarding Pre-assembly, Installation and Commissioning activities. This role will require travel to various project sites.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsible for planning and overseeing the construction and commissioning activities associated with SGRE’s contracted scope of works.
Budget responsibility for Onshore Pre-assembly, Offshore Installation and Commissioning including Manning, Cranes, Vessels, Tools and Spares etc. in accordance with relevant processes and procedures. In the project organization you will report to the Project Director / Senior Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager. You will also undertake management of the client interface regarding Pre-assembly, Installation and Commissioning activities.
Align standardized installation and commissioning concepts to project contractual requirements and strategy in cooperation with Project Director / Senior Project Manager.
Responsible for creating and updating the Construction Execution Plan. Responsible for the coordination and control of the planning and execution of the preassembly resources, cranes, installation vessel(s), ports, site set up, manpower, tools, equipment, transfer / accommodation / DP2 vessels and all associated activities in co-operation with the relevant departments and groups.
Facilitate sub supplier selection within role scope and coordinate contract management of sub-suppliers
Functionally lead and manage (within the project environment) supporting groups / sub-team members. Initiate and coordinate relevant activities and tasks within supporting groups, including your Construction team setup.
What You Bring
High School diploma, or equivalent experience
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change
Project Management skills and experience in budget control and financial reporting.
Proven experience in complex construction projects, preferably for the offshore industry. You will be comfortable working in an international, team. Excellent leadership, management and people skills
