Walt Disney World is seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operators with experience in both subtractive machining and additive manufacturing technologies. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment to support highquality part production for a wide range of internal customers.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities :
Additive Manufacturing (AM) Operations
Set up, operate, and monitor additive manufacturing equipment, including Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Stereolithography (SLA), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and PolyJet systems.
Prepare build files, configure machine parameters, and ensure proper material selection and handling for each AM process.
Perform part postprocessing such as de-powdering, support removal, curing, sanding, finishing, and dimensional verification.
Conduct routine calibration, preventative maintenance, and cleaning of AM equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Document build data, quality metrics, and any deviations from expected output.
CNC Machining
Operate CNC lathes and mills in accordance with job specifications, engineering drawings, and programming requirements.
Verify quality, dimensions, and key characteristics using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic issues to maintain workflow.
Machine, modify, or repair parts per MRB instructions, including part marking, polishing, thread chasing/tapping, and other secondary operations.
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and manufacturing documentation with strong attention to detail.
General & Team Responsibilities
Maintain thorough communication with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet all safety, quality, and production requirements.
Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Disney and industry standards.
Work independently while demonstrating a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Basic Qualifications :
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Proven experience setting up and machining parts on CNC mills and lathes
Strong shop math skills and the ability to run multiple machines simultaneously
Prior experience in industrial manufacturing with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, teamoriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Farsoon and/or Formlabs additive equipment
Background in manual machining
Familiarity with Mazatrol controls and programming
Prior hands-on experience in additive manufacturing operations, troubleshooting, or machine maintenance
