Job Description:
Monitors the use and implementation of physician tools to ensure accurate and complete records. Generates and analyzes data and reports to identify opportunities for documentation improvement. Other duties as assigned. Delivers training and continuing education to physicians and clinical departments. Uses critical thinking and sound judgment to balance reimbursement considerations with regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between CDI leadership, revenue cycle staff, and interdisciplinary team members. Assists in the development and implementation of work plans to ensure CDI success. Provides ongoing feedback to physicians, administration, and CDI leadership. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local documentation guidelines, ICD10, and coding guidelines. Communicates changes in documentation and coding guidelines to relevant stakeholders. Provides education and feedback to physicians and clinical staff based on audit results. Collaborates with CDI teams, physicians, and administrative leaders to ensure accurate and compliant documentation. Develops and implements action plans for improving physician documentation practices. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
• Foreign Medical Graduate [Required] OR
• Advance practice practitioners (APRN or PA) with active Florida license [required]
Field of Study:

• 5+ years clinical experience [Required]
• 2+ years in acute care setting [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$83,699.48 - $155,693.55
