Sight & Sound Productions Business Development Manager in Orlando, Florida
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow with us at Sight & Sound Productions! As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible generating new business by targeting large-scale events that need both AV and décor services. You’ll build relationships with corporate and social event planners, venues, and organizations that host multiple events annually.
Role Overview:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on corporate, social, and large-scale events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and venues.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, estimates, and presentations that align with client goals.
Understand client needs and position Sight & Sound Productions as the premier solution for AV and décor services.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and revenue projections.
Partner with project managers and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and exceptional execution for booked events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales in the events, hospitality, or AV industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Willingness to travel throughout Florida for client meetings and events.
Understanding of AV technology and event décor, along with a strong network of contacts with corporate and social event planners and venues, is a plus.
