Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Orlando, Florida
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will support a variety of financial and administrative tasks essential to our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a small, family-owned company where your skills and dedication will make a direct impact.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions.
• Generate checks and coordinate their processing and mailing.
• Support deposit preparation and ensure timely completion.
• Organize and maintain filing systems, including the file room.
• Assist in preparing and submitting annual state filing reports.
• Provide support for tax processing and filing activities.
• Collaborate with the financial analyst on property management tasks.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, family-owned business environment. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and its functionalities.
• High level of accuracy and speed in data entry.
• Experience with invoice processing and related tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of responsibilities within a small business setting.
