Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategies and operations for our organization based in Orland Park, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to oversee financial planning, reporting, and management across key business areas, including retail and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience and expertise in driving efficiency and profitability within complex organizational structures.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Manage cash flow analysis and capital allocation to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
• Provide leadership in the use and optimization of business systems related to financial operations.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational priorities.
• Supervise and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering growth and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and long-term financial stability.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics to stakeholders and executive leadership. Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in cash flow analysis and capital management.
• Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Experience in retail and manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with business systems and financial software solutions.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage organizational change.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
The salary range for this position is $70/hour to $90/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
