Job Title: Welder - 2nd Shift Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated welder to join our team on the 2nd shift. This position involves using MIG and TIG welding techniques to fabricate and grind parts, ensuring high-quality production standards. You'll be working in a collaborative environment where your skills will contribute significantly to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities
Perform welding operations using MIG and TIG techniques.
Grind parts to clean up weld metal.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure Auger Flyte.
Clean and organize the work station to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
Assist in preparing bays with helpers to facilitate smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, with a requirement to pass a blueprint test.
Understanding of weld symbols and their applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Welding certificate from a High School or Technical School.

Work Environment
The work environment requires wearing jeans without holes, boots, and a t-shirt. It is important to dress warmly in the winter as doors may be open, leading to colder conditions. A weld helmet is a mandatory requirement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orion, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
