Electrical Lab Specialist Instructor
Location: Orem, UT
Status: Part-Time
Hours: Monday–Thursday; 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Pay/Salary: $31.00–$35.00

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Electrical Lab Specialist Instructor include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate with other apprenticeship instructors to schedule lab use and ensure the lab is set up and ready for classes and projects.
Keep an up-to-date inventory of lab equipment.
Repair equipment as needed, request replacements, and identify new equipment and supply needs for the lab.
Teach lab lessons or support other instructors with instruction and practical exams.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lab environment.
Ensure all instructors and students understand and follow established lab safety guidelines and procedures.
Support additional instructional and lab-related responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:
Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent.
Industry Credentials & Certifications: Expert knowledge of electrical curriculum, an electrical degree from an accredited college, or a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Experience with Canvas and curriculum development is a plus.
Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities.
Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, ensure industry standards are met, and maintain accurate records.
