Position Details
Job Title: QC Analyst
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (shift differential applies)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Duration: 3?month contract
Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing
What We’re Looking For
This role is well?suited for recent graduates or early?career professionals who want hands?on exposure to quality control in a GMP environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Medical Technology
3–6 months of laboratory or research experience, gained through coursework, internships, co?ops, or industry roles
Interest in learning standardized testing methods, documentation practices, and regulated lab operations
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a collaborative QC team, supporting testing activities that directly impact patient safety and product quality:
Perform analytical testing on Clinical Chemistry, Critical Care, Coagulation, and Microbiology controls and reagents using both automated and manual methods, following SOPs, QC Monographs, and GMP guidelines
Test raw materials, in?process samples, and finished products—reviewing data and determining pass/fail results
Maintain accurate, GMP?compliant documentation, including batch records, logs, and reports
Conduct product stability, proficiency, environmental, and water system testing
Execute microbial testing per approved procedures
Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
Support lab organization by managing supplies, monitoring expirations, and maintaining sample storage and trend charts
Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous and biohazardous materials
