Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision tools, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Orange, VA
Pay Range: $17.37 - $18.37
Shift: First Shift (7a-3p) Second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a)
What's the Job?
Operate conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders
Sand, deburr, and perform necessary finishing tasks to ensure quality standards are met
Understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal production performance
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
Familiarity with various CNC machines and controls
Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety guidelines
