Aventure Staffing Composite Technician in Orange City, Iowa
Composite Technician
$18 + $2/hr 2nd Shift Differential
1st Shift – Mon–Thurs 6:00am–3:30pm, Friday 6:00am–10:00am (OT as Needed)
2nd Shift – Mon–Thurs 3:00pm–1:30am
Are you a detail-oriented, results-driven manufacturing professional? If so, this position is for you! A local, well-established company in Orange City is looking for Composite Technicians to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and experience working with advanced composite materials in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components by laying composites and materials such as pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass cloth onto molds per work instructions and customer specifications• Perform advanced composite operations including trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding processes• Process parts through molding operations while ensuring quality and accuracy• Complete inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and required testing procedures• Maintain accurate record keeping of inspection results, work orders, and time calculations• Ensure product quality standards are met while providing suggestions for continuous improvement• Maintain a clean and organized work environment• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred• Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications and work instructions• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail• Excellent hand dexterity and coordination• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for entire shift• Effective oral and written communication skills
