Kuehne+Nagel National Sea Logistics Systems & Processes Manager (m/f/d) in Opfikon, Switzerland

In this role, you take the lead in developing and improving the systems and processes that keep our Sea Logistics operations running smoothly. You drive transformation, boost efficiency, and ensure our organization stays future‑ready, digital, and customer‑focused.

As part of the National Sea Logistics Management Team, you will have real influence—far beyond traditional support functions.

How you create impact

  • Lead national systems and process transformation projects

  • Shape the Sea Logistics systems roadmap and align it with national/global standards

  • Drive cross‑functional initiatives that boost efficiency, automation, and digital readiness

  • Lead national AI-driven improvement initiatives

  • Optimize systems, processes, and data flows across all locations

  • Provide insights through data analysis and performance evaluation

  • Represent national interests as business owner for key applications

What we would like you to bring

  • Training or degree in logistics or IT

  • 2–5 years of Sea Logistics experience

  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, and attention to detail

  • Ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and challenge the status quo

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Strategic, forward-thinking mindset with high ownership and accountability

  • Fluent in English and confident in German, both written and spoken

  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland
