PRE-HEAT INC Project Engineer in OOSTBURG, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position will collaborate with the project management team during the execution and thermal analysis, design-build Package Recovery Equipment also known as Heat Exchangers. The project Engineer will apply heat transfer principles, system design and optimization, and engineering analysis to develop customized solutions for our clients. The equipment involves air to air heat exchangers, indirect heaters and systems designed to reduce air pollution by recovering and reusing waste thermal energy from exhaust air. Specific duties and responsibilities: 1. Under close supervision, implement the Mechanical Engineering principles to design, analyze and estimate the size and specifications to build heat exchangers under standard and special customer requirements, considering structural and thermal analysis. 2. Develop and release all production drawings and details for supervisory review and feedback, to ensure the plate and Tube Heat Exchangers product can be built to specifications within two weeks of the customer\'s purchase order. 3. Develop and release all Bill Of Materials items within one week of the customer\'s approval drawing. 4. Ensure all customers, industry, and regional specifications and requirements are detailed and communicated 100% of the time. 5. Ensure proper insulation calculations are used to maximize the product\'s efficiency, reducing burn risk exposure on the Heat Exchangers, ducts, transitions and systems working under high temperature conditions, operation, keeping the outside surface under OSHA requirements. 6. Monitor and coordinate all change orders to ensure approval is received 100% before work completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints 7. Ensure proper materials are selected for the project, including primer, paint, and hardware. 8. Conduct research and gather necessary information to support project planning and execution, providing regular updates to the stakeholders on project status and milestones. 9. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 10.Conduct on-site visits and evaluations to assess project feasibility and identify potential technical issues or risks. 11. Assist in the resolution of technical problems or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. 12.Develops and implements process improvement projects that focus on manufacturing efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost. 13. Analyze and develop new heat exchangers to increase efficiency, ensuring the optimization of resources and cost-energy using Computational Fluid Dynamic Software. *Travel: 1% per year, to visit partners and customers to unanticipated locations within the U.S. and international (Europe). Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and two years of relevant experience. Specific Experience and Skills Required: 1. Experience in mechanical engineering design role, focused on thermodynamical heat exchangers analysis and calculation. 2. Proficiency in using different software tools such as: Microsoft tools to develop reports and presentations for stakeholders; and Computational Fluid Dynamic Software. 3. Experience in performing thermal and mechanical calculations, simulating structural finite element analysis using Computer Aided Desing and elaborating manufacturing blueprints. (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred) 4. Experience with engineering project development, participating in all the stages of multiple projects simultaneously (more than 4) in a multidisciplinary environment, ensuring the successful project execution. 5.
