Responsibilities for Claims Examiner include but are not limited to:

· Manage and adjudicate complex workers’ compensation claims from investigation to resolution.

· Set and manage reserves, ensuring accuracy and timely adjustments throughout the claim lifecycle.

· Handle litigation processes, including coordination with attorneys and ensuring cost‑effective claim outcomes.

· Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority limits.

· Identify and manage recoveries, including subrogation, Second Injury Fund, Medicare/Social Security offsets, and excess carrier reporting.

Candidates for Claims Examiner must meet the following requirements to be considered:

· Minimum 3+ years’ experience in workers’ compensation claims (public entity experience required).

· SIP certification is mandatory.

· Experience with public entities, especially County of Los Angeles, is a strong plus.

· Strong knowledge of WC laws, claim duration, medical management practices, and cost‑containment techniques.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

· Pay: $50/hr.

· Shift: Remote in CA - Monday – Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Details: $50.00 per hour
