Our Weatherization/Energy Services team is hiring new and experienced installers and trades people to retrofit residential homes with energy-saving devices and systems.
Weatherization crews are provided uniforms, tools, and an agency work truck for transportation to job sites . As Weatherization Crew Leader you will:
Oversee the work of crew members and ensure jobs are completed per work scope specs and on schedule
Work alongside crews to install insulation and windows, air seal residential buildings, clean, tune, and repair heating systems, and other tasks as directed
Organize materials for daily work activity
Drive and properly care of agency work trucks
Comply with safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED/HSED preferred; residential housing construction and/or weatherization experience; relevant knowledge of standard construction practices as they apply to energy conservation; obtain certifications as required by program; valid, unrestricted New York State driver's license.
Working Conditions:
Works with tools, materials, and equipment typical in-home repair and weatherization; requires strenuous work inside and outside clients' dwellings; frequent physical exertion, including lifting heavy loads, climbing ladders, working at heights, twisting, bending; need to practice safety procedures to prevent exposure to hazards encountered at worksites; must be able to pass occupational physical exams (DOT and respirator fit test) upon hire.

Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
