Job Description: J. Newman Painting LLC is seeking experienced Painters to join our growing team in Oneida, N.Y. We are known for delivering high-quality residential painting services throughout Central New York. Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, priming, caulking) - Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Protect surrounding areas (furniture, floors, fixtures) during painting - Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors - Handle minor drywall repairs and surface touch-ups as needed
Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience in painting or construction - Valid New York State driver's license required - Ability to commute daily, worksites can vary from Syracuse to Skaneateles - Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Physically able to stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
Salary: - $21.50 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
