Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Line Cook:
Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
Follow all recipes and production specifications
Knowledge and execution of menus
Assist in all areas of food production as needed
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations
Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation
Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino's policy and procedures
Must be able to execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, quality and adhere to food safety practices
Must have knowledge and be able to execute in other outlets of Food and Beverage
Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience preferred
Serv-Safe Certification preferred
Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's)
Serves and develops others by building relationships
