Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Housekeeper:
Vacuum, sweep, and dust floors
Dust, polish and vacuum furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, framed pictures, and other fixtures in Guest rooms
Clean showers, toilets, wash basins, and other fixtures
Remove trash and debris
Strip beds, collect dirty linens and make bed with fresh linenes
Replenish linens, towels, amentities, and other supplies
Follow all policies and procedures regarding the handling of lost and found items
Dust, sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and clean assigned hotel floor common areas
Transport trash and dirty linens to designated areas
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the team
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Communicate Effectively as you are in guest rooms
Stand, walk, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/ or crawl
Be able to lift and carry objects up to twenty-five (25) lbs
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation in Guest rooms
Ability to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, and lifting linen and supplies
Strong time management skills to efficiently clean rooms and manage tasks within allotted time frames
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle various tasks as needed
Commitment to delivering outstanding service and ensuring Guest satisfaction
Basic communication skills to report issues to supervisors and interact with Guests
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the housekeeping department
Commitment to regular attendance and punctuality
Secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority which includes a casino background
Requirements must be met before this position is accepted
