CITY OF ONALASKA Lead Pool Attendant in ONALASKA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lead Pool Attendant Aquatic Center (Seasonal/Limited-Term) The City of Onalaska is seeking to hire Lead Pool Attendants. An employee in this position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to concessions, general customer service duties and monitoring access to the facility. This position is a limited term, seasonal position. Scheduled hours may vary. Essential Job Functions: Monitors access to the facility and sells daily admissions. Answers telephone calls and responds to general customer questions about the facility. Checks locker rooms and bathrooms as directed, and performs any necessary cleaning tasks. Follows Wisconsin law and City policies regarding sanitation. Enforces department policies and follows department procedures regarding admission to the Aquatic Center. Performs food preparation and operates all concessions equipment. Reports daily or as directed to Supervisor or designee on the status of concessions inventory. Assists in the direction of day-to-day activities of Aquatic Center staff. Follows all Wisconsin laws and City policies regarding sanitation. Follows City cash handling policies and procedures. Balances cash drawer each shift or as directed following established cash handling policies. Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and public. Other duties as requested or assigned. Physical Requirements: The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Job Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old. Experience in customer service and handling cash required. Previous experience working in food preparation preferred. Good communication and organizational skills required. Compensation: Wage range for this seasonal, limited-term position is \$12.00 to \$15.00 per hour depending on qualifications. Flexible scheduling available. There are no benefits associated with limited-term positions.
